Education tracks give dealers a competitive edge

As always, one of the biggest benefits of attending a BrandSource national show is the education component.
Summit 2025 will be held March 23-26 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville. It will bring together members of BrandSource and its affiliate groups: ProSource, Intercounty Appliance Corp (IAC), the New England Appliance Group (NEAG) and MEGA Group/BrandSource Canada.
Topics for Everyone
The education sessions will be held between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday, March 24 and the lineup offers a wide range of options for participants to choose from.
Here’s a sneak peek:
- In “Build with Care: How to Create Committed, High-Performing Teams in a Rapidly Changing World,” workplace culture expert Danny Goldberg will talk about how to create environments where trust fuels performance and business leaders cultivate adaptability and innovation in their staffs by showing care.
- In “Merchandising Your Showroom for Maximum Profit,” former NEAG executive director of merchandising Rob Balzano will get into the details of merchandising — from planograms and plan-to-sells to step strategy and strategic tagging for profit.
- In “Cutting Insurance Costs: Insider Tips for Retail Business Owners,” HRSource Lead Daniel Abramson will share his expertise to help members find ways to do business smarter.
- ServiceSource will hold a number of education sessions, including classes on finding and training top-notch technicians and mastering the essentials of a successful service department, along with a special ServiceSource Town Hall.
- In “Merchandising 101,” Darrell Haslett of Dick Van Dyke Appliance World and BrandSource merchandising experts Paul Roth and Tim Yarnell will present best practices and invite member to break into roundtables to strategize great ideas to share with the group.
In addition, there will be vendor-specific sessions hosted by Guardsman, Acima Leasing and Proctor & Gamble.
Focus on Success
The theme for Summit is Focus, with a focus on “us.” In addition to education, the show will feature manufacturing product trainings, the Stampede buying event and networking opportunities, as well as an industry-leading EXPO product show.
