Three BrandSource furniture partners win Pinnacle design awards

Three BrandSource vendor partners — Bernhardt Furniture, Century Furniture and Universal Furniture — were honored in the International Society of Furniture Designers Pinnacle Awards.
The Pinnacle Awards recognize designs created by individuals who envision and craft the pieces that are produced and marketed by companies large and small.
“Each year when I see the exceptionally creative pieces that the professional and student furniture and textile designers enter, I appreciate the daunting task that the judges have in selecting the finalists and ultimately the winners,” said David Blair, executive director of the International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD).
Among BrandSource’s three winning partners, Bernhardt Furniture swept four categories:
- Home office: Arcadia Home Office
- Leather upholstery: Bowie leather chair
- Occasional storage: Arcadia etagere
- Occasional tables: Clawson bunching cocktail table
Century Furniture won in the dining – luxury category for its Dawning Dining Collection, and Universal Furniture won in the entertainment furniture category for its Cosmo credenza.
“Once again, the designers outdid themselves by submitting pieces and collections that continue to raise the bar in this prominent industry competition and make winning a highly valued Pinnacle Award an even greater honor,” Blair said.
The ISFD is an international, non-profit, professional organization dedicated to advancing, improving and supporting the profession of furniture design and its positive impact in the marketplace.
