The BrandSource member was named a ‘Best of South Carolina’ business

Congratulations to BrandSource member MoonTree Mattress, which has won a coveted “2024 Best of South Carolina” accreditation from The Guide to South Carolina.
According to the statewide business compendium, the awards program is an annual roundup of the best companies and service providers across The Palmetto State, based on nominations and votes by readers of The Guide. MoonTree, described as “a modern boutique,” received its accolade within the “Mattress Stores” category.
Run by former Tempur Sealy staffer Ryan Meyer, MoonTree is “the easiest place to buy a mattress,” he said, thanks to its exclusive ZzzMatch Smart Tech Mattress Fitting System. Utilizing technology, science and data, the system provides a concise, no-pressure and stress-free way “to find your perfect mattress” among the dealer’s curated assortment of online and traditional brands.
“We believe that everyone deserves a better mattress shopping experience so you can live healthier,” Meyer said.
A Better Approach to Bedding
Now based in Fort Mill, S.C., MoonTree leverages the knowledge that Meyer garnered on the vendor side to help drive the retail operation. “I’m really passionate about putting the focus of this experience on the customer,” he told YSN last year. “I want to take my vision for what the experience of buying a mattress should look like and offer it here in this store. It is truly a different experience here.”

Also unique is the company’s name. “I didn’t leave TSI to open ‘Ryan’s Mattress Gallery’; that’s way too generic. We needed to be more than that.” Instead, he alighted on MoonTree because “The moon oversees the night and a tree represents growth and rejuvenation. When you get a really good night’s sleep you are going to grow mentally and physically. We are here to help you achieve that.”

The Guide to South Carolina collects readers’ votes throughout the year for its annual Best of South Carolina awards program.
