Mark Waters moves from VP to COO

BrandSource member Miskelly Furniture continues to adjust its leadership structure, this time promoting Mark Waters to chief operating officer.

Waters brings more than 25 years of experience in operations management in furniture retail to his new role. He began his home furnishings career in customer service for Mathis Brothers Furniture and moved to Miskelly in 2005, where he served as a distribution manager for just over a decade.
Waters returned to Miskelly last year as vice president following an eight-year stint as operations manager for Ivan Smith Furniture.
The Mississippi-based furniture chain will formally open its seventh store on Aug. 1 in Starkville.
