JennAir, Whirlpool’s luxury appliance brand, is shipping the latest addition to its kitchen clean-up arsenal.

The new product, first previewed at this year’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), is a fully integrated dishwasher with a high-capacity third-level rack. Its flush design, explained JennAir, allows it to integrate into kitchens and seamlessly blend with cabinets to achieve “a clean, finished look.”

“There’s no longer a one-size-fits-all approach to luxury kitchens,” said Chelsey Whitehead, the brand’s director of product and brand marketing. “Today we’re witnessing a widespread trend in consumers craving appliances that camouflage seamlessly into their individual design aesthetics. This dishwasher does just that while delivering the unparalleled performance they expect from the JennAir brand.”

Rise and Shine

Available panel ready and in the brand’s unique Rise and Noir finishes, the new dishwasher offers the following features:

Quiet Operation: JennAir lays claim to the title of “quietest luxury dishwasher brand,” and at 38 dBA this model supports that assertion.

Designed for Invisible Kitchens: With a fully flush and integrated design, the JennAir flush dishwasher easily integrates into its surroundings.

High-Capacity Third Level Rack with Wash: The rack provides an easy, quite glide, even when fully loaded, and users can use it to clean small bowls and large rocks glasses.

Digital Time Display: Due to the flush design the control panels are hidden, so JennAir provides a digital projection on the floor — which means never having to disrupt the flow to check the cycle status.

Door Open Dry: The door automatically opens at the end of the cycle, allowing for a quick drying option.

Enhanced Cinematic Lighting: The dishwasher is packed with 18 LED lights that ramp up to full intensity to brightly illuminate the black racks and spotlight the clean dishes.

About JennAir

Founded in 1947 by Louis Jenn as Jenn-Air, the Indianapolis-based business started out making industrial fans. In 1961, its integration of a fan with a cooktop led to the invention of the first self-ventilated downdraft range and set the stage for expansion into kitchen appliances. The company was acquired by Maytag in 1982 and absorbed by Whirlpool as part of its 2006 purchase of Maytag. The luxury brand lost its hyphenation in 2018 following a logo redesign.
