BrandSource member Miskelly Furniture is set to open its newest store next month.
According to a report in Home News Now, the Mississippi furniture chain will open a 40,000-square-foot mega-store next month in The Magnolia State’s northern town of Starkville, home of Mississippi State University.
Plans call for a soft opening in mid-July, to be followed by a formal grand opening on Aug. 1.
The Starkville store is about two hours north of the company’s former Jackson, Miss., location, which closed last year. It will be supplied by the old locale’s distribution center, CEO Oscar Miskelly told the publication, which will allow for next-day delivery and will free up nearly all of the new facility’s real estate for selling space.
