Abt Electronics, ETC Palm Beach to be saluted at group’s Spring Conference

ProSource, the nation’s largest A/V and custom integration merchandising group and an AVB affiliate, has named Chicago’s celebrated Abt Electronics and Florida’s ETC Palm Beach as its respective PRO and Power Members of the Year for 2023.
The honorees will be saluted at next month’s annual ProSource PRO/Power Spring Conference, slated for May 12–17 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla.
“Abt Electronics is one of the original Pro Group members and I am happy to recognize their decades of group support and engagement,” said Jim Pearse, ProSource CEO. “Abt is defined by their execution, vendor partnerships and legendary forward thinking. They have evolved into a strong multi-vertical retailer that leverages e-commerce, custom integration and retail. When I think of the best of the best in the ProSource Pro-level members, Abt clearly defines what good looks like. We are happy to celebrate Abt as the ProSource PRO Member of the Year.”
Pearse similarly lauded ETC for its “operational strength, disciplined processes and unmatched customer satisfaction,” which he described as “worthy of the ProSource Power Member of the Year recognition.”
He continued, “I have had the pleasure of visiting the ETC team at their headquarters and they are delivering on their culture imperative of ‘wow’ and ‘amaze’ … ETC is clearly setting a new standard for all of us at ProSource.”
ETC Palm Beach owner Paul Biava said the company is “thrilled” to receive the Power Member recognition, and was quick to thank his staff. “The team is what makes ETC what it is and without all of our employees we wouldn’t be here today,” he said. “I am eternally grateful to their hard work and dedication and everything they do for our clients every day.”
For their part, the brothers Abt — Mike, Jon, Billy and Ricky — issued the following statement: “We are delighted to be selected as ProSource’s Member of the Year. This is an honor for our organization and we feel that this is great exposure for our brand and the products we carry.”
