Something for everyone at this month’s show

With AVB’s Summit 2024 just two weekends away, attendees may want to consider the wealth of special events that are slated for the gathering at Caesar’s Forum in Las Vegas.
Besides a full raft of region meetings, product trainings, vendor giveaways and top industry speakers, this year’s show will offer a host of special events tailored to every member interest, all under this year’s theme of “WIN.”
The activities kick off at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, when all are welcome to the Summit Winner’s Circle Welcome Reception, where guests are invited to “dress to impress in your finest Kentucky Derby attire.”
For those among the 40-something-and-under sect, AVB’s Young Professionals organization will gather earlier that evening (6-7 p.m.) for a Member Meet-Up, courtesy of sponsors ZLINE and DuPage Industries.
Also at Summit, and coinciding with Women’s History Month, the ladies of AVB will make some “herstory” of their own at the annual Women In Business breakfast. The networking and female empowerment group will host author and social relationships expert Shasta Nelson, who will explain why relationships are more important to health than treadmills and kale. Sponsored by GE Profile, Tempur Sealy and Wells Fargo, the 90-minute breakfast session will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26.
Other specialty group events include an FTS Furniture & Mattress Dealer Networking Lunch and Best Practice Town Hall, both on Monday afternoon, March 25, and a ServiceSource Town Hall Breakfast for all self-servicing members, scheduled for Tuesday from 7:30-9 a.m.
Of course, no Summit would be complete without the traditional Stampede session for limited-time, show-special buys. This month’s deal-o-rama has been dubbed the “Wintucky Derby,” so be sure to join the Winner’s Circle on Monday at 5 p.m.
