Special sessions, new initiatives top agenda

ProSource, the nation’s largest audio, video and integration merchandising group, will join the extended AVB family this Sunday in Las Vegas for the 2024 Summit.
There, the Golden, Colo.-based buying organization will bring its members and vendors together for a four-day meeting centered around networking, education and developing and furthering relationships with vendors.
Joining ProSource at the Caesars Forum Convention Center under this year’s theme of “WIN” will be the group’s four AVB affiliates: BrandSource, BrandSource Canada, New England Appliance Group (NEAG) and Intercounty Appliance Corp. (IAC).
On tap for ProSource members is a full schedule of presentations and education sessions geared toward furthering and strengthening current business practices, and opportunities for one-to-one vendor meetings on the Expo floor.
The program kicks off Sunday with “Navigating Success,” a motivational presentation by the group’s CEO, Jim Pearse. Pearse will also introduce the 2023 Custom Integration Members of the Year.
In addition, the group will announce several new initiatives at the show, including a ProSource Service Suite, and its leadership will field members’ questions and concerns during a Q&A session.
Other highlights will include an examination of the U.S. economy by Elliot Eisenberg; a Business Forecasting Roundtable hosted by Matt Bernath; a primer on the power of body language by Janine Driver; and a rundown of practical custom install applications for generative AI, presented by Alex Capecelatro.
ProSource members can also visit 10 separate demo rooms hosted by Sony, Samsung and other top A/V brands, and enjoy a beer and a few rounds of bowling at Monday night’s gathering at Brooklyn Bowl, located near the convention center and the Summit’s host hotel, Harrah’s.
