AVB tech affiliate ProSource has joined the podcast parade.
Its new streaming series, “What’s Up ProSource,” hosted by ProSource CEO Jim Pearse, represents the specialty CE group’s first digital chatfest for the custom integration channel.
According to the Golden, Colo.-based merchandising organization, the podcast was “born out of executive meetings, interesting ProSource members with amazing stories and ideas, as well as all the emerging technologies throughout the industry.”
“What’s Up ProSource” was launched in January and is available on all major podcasting platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Amazon Music and Spotify. The monthly talk show presently has three episodes under its belt, featuring interviews with Savant President JC Murphy, Screen Innovations CEO Kim Parker and Lightworks principal Troy Dunnington. Upcoming shows will feature interviews with ProSource members, vendor partners and offer industry insights, the group said.
“I felt like maybe it would be interesting to start a podcast to bring some of these insights that you might not normally hear in a normal event or a normal conversation with your rep,” Pearse explained on the first episode. “We’re going to be very disciplined as we work on content for the podcast. My hope is we can earn your listenership by having interesting conversations and interesting information that can help your business as we move into 2024.”
