February Furniture Traffic Up on ALTA Websites

Furniture websites saw an 8% increase in sessions during February with promotional and contact pages still seeing the largest number of visits. These online indicators typically reflect active shoppers who are ready to buy and a resulting increase in foot traffic. Some of this rise is attributed to Presidents’ Day as shoppers look for holiday deals.

Paid Search (Google PPC Ads) drove the largest increases in traffic over the holiday platform-wide with sofas and sectionals being among the most popular items to search. This means Paid Search was most effective at attracting shoppers in February. We can expect traffic to drop in non-promotional March as we head into the traditionally slower Q2.
