AVB’s extended family assembles on Sunday

AVB’s national Summit 2024 kicks off this Sunday in Las Vegas with a full contingent of members, affiliates, vendors and staff in tow.
The combination buying show, educational conference and member meet-up will be held March 24-27 at the Caesars Forum convention center, adjacent to host hotel Harrah’s, under the theme of “WIN.” There, BrandSource and its ProSource, NEAG and Intercounty sister groups will present the latest industry intelligence, shop the newest furniture, appliance and tech products, and forge a common bond while exchanging best practices.
Summit officially begins at noon on Sunday with five hours of product trainings and workshops by Ashley, CareerPlug, Crosley, Dacor, Electrolux, GE Appliances, JennAir, KitchenAid, LG Electronics, Maytag, Samsung, Serta Simmons and Tempur Sealy.
After that it’s time to socialize at the Young Professionals Member Meet-Up and First-Time Attendee Meet & Greet, both at 6 p.m. Then, all are welcome to the Summit Winner’s Circle Welcome Reception, where guests are can “Dress to impress in your finest Kentucky Derby attire.”
Other highlights of the four-day confab include:
- A keynote address by millionaire renaissance man Jesse Itzler.
- An expansive education series that runs the gamut from cybersecurity to staging succulent in-store events.
- The annual Women In Business breakfast, featuring author and social relationships expert Shasta Nelson.
- Town Hall gatherings for BrandSource’s FTS and ServiceSource dealers.
- Vendor giveaways galore.
- And ,of course, the Expo buy fair and Stampede session for limited-time show specials, this year featuring the theme “Wintucky Derby.”
