Honorees to be celebrated at March Summit

AVB affiliate ProSource, the largest audio, video and integration group in the U.S., has picked its 2023 Custom Integration Members of the Year. The winners, each representing one of the tech group’s four geographic regions, will be honored at next month’s Summit in Las Vegas.
As ProSource CEO Jim Pearse explained, “Each year we review our membership to identify the best of the best companies in the industry and celebrate their success at our Custom Integration Summit,” which runs concurrently with BrandSource’s show. “We are fortunate to serve over 550 of the best quality integrators in the United States, and every year we celebrate four that rise to the top,” he said.

The four 2023 Custom Integration Members of the Year are DeVance Electronic Lifestyle, Carrollton, Texas; Cinegration, Arvada, Colo.; AV Design Consultants, Springdale, Ark., and System Design Co., Southampton, N.Y.
DeVance was chosen to represent ProSource’s Southeast Region by District Manager Steve Simon. “We are honored to have Matt and Dana DeVance representing ProSource’s Southeast Region as the 2023 Member of the Year,” he said. “They have been highly engaged in ProSource events and proudly hosted our 2023 Dallas Town Hall at their store back in October. It showcases everything from lighting control to integration, and has a state-of-the-art theater and a premium two-channel showroom. Their showroom is an absolute work of art.”
Owners Matt and Dana DeVance are understandably proud of their business. “We are out to give unexpected experiences that our clients will use as teaching moments to their companies, no matter what the industry,” Matt said.
Cinegration was chosen to represent ProSource’s Western Region by District Manager Brian Kjaer, who cited the company’s deep engagement with ProSource, active participation in events, dedication to staying informed and connected, and its collaboration with in-group brands.
“Their innovative showroom is a testament to their dedication to showcasing cutting-edge technologies,” Kjaer said. “Cinegration isn’t just a member but a strategic partner, aligning seamlessly with our vision and demonstrating a commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation.”
In a statement, owners A.J. Brunson and Eric Fischer said, “We’re truly honored and humbled to be named ProSource’s 2023 Member of the Year for the West region. ProSource has been an incredible partner in our journey and we look forward to everything the future holds.”
AV Design Consultants was chosen to represent ProSource’s North Central Region by District Manager Jim Crowley. “They have continually supported ProSource vendors and attended our events for almost 12 years,” he noted, “and Paul and Chris have partnered to create an innovative and service-oriented business. The entire team works collaboratively to make sure every client has the best experience in all facets of the project. Congratulations AV Design Consultants.”
Owner Paul Crawford was thrilled to be named as a 2023 CI Member of the Year. “AV Design couldn’t be more excited for having a partner like ProSource to align our business with. The relationship with the group has been instrumental in our growth and development, and we’re both humbled and grateful to be named this year’s ProSource North Central Member of the Year,” he said.
Representing the Northeast is System Design Co. As District Manager Robert Dodge explained, “The criteria for receiving the ProSource Member of the Year award are based on support of group brands, conducting business in a manner that represents excellence, participation within the group, and their overall reputation in the market. Systems Design not only hits these criteria but far exceeds it. Congratulations to Curtis Cole and the entire team at Systems Design Co. for being selected this year’s winner. You earned it.”
