LG Electronics has launched a dedicated U.S. appliance division for the builder and designer channels.
The company said its new LG Pro Builder network is comprised of a seasoned service team with an extensive builder-specific background, and a sales team that brings more than 1,400 combined years of builder appliance experience.
The division will support a full range of construction, from high-end custom homes to single- and multi-family dwellings with different styles, functions and budgets, and will cover every price point with its distinct LG, LG Studio and Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS) brand portfolios.
Beyond appliances, LG Pro Builder will also offer access to a builder-centric product portfolio that includes advanced HVAC systems, heat pump water heaters, energy storage systems, EV chargers and consumer electronics, the manufacturer said.
Chris Jung, CEO of LG Electronics North America, said the new division “makes service and product quality equal priorities for every builder, making appliance selection, on-time delivery and installation a seamless part of building a dream home for homeowners.”
Leading the new effort is Guy Minnix, a builder channel veteran who was named senior director – head of builder at LG Electronics North America Appliance Division. Minnix said his operation’s signature advantage is “our ability to help our B2B customers ‘build the good life’ by combining dedicated service with unparalleled quality to deliver appliances that rank number one in consumer preference and provide peace of mind through warranty protection.”
He added that LG’s rich consumer insights will also help builder partners keep pace with the growing diversity of homebuyers.
The new LG Pro Builder division was formally announced at this week’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the appliance industry’s largest U.S. platform for new product launches, and the co-located International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, which together comprise Design and Construction Week.
