Receives 33 honors in appliances and CE

LG Electronics has topped its own record for CES Innovation Awards, with 33 of its home appliance and consumer tech products recognized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) for 2024.
The annual awards competition honors outstanding design and engineering in consumer tech and distinguishes the highest-rated products across 29 product categories.
LG’s 2024 awards, to be formally announced in January at the sprawling CES tech show in Las Vegas, include the company’s acclaimed OLED TVs, which have been recognized for the 12th consecutive year. The OLEDs earned 12 Innovation honors, and were joined in CE by soundbars, portable speakers, monitors and laptops.
On the appliance side, the CTA singled out LG Signature brand washers and dryers for its annual accolades.
The 2024 competition received more than 3,000 submissions, a record high and a 40% increase over CES 2023. Product contenders were judged by an elite panel of industry experts, including journalists, designers and engineers, which reviewed submissions based on innovation, engineering, functionality, aesthetic and design.
The full list CES 2024 Innovation Award recipients, along with details on each of LG’s honorees, will be announced at CES 2024 on Jan. 7.
