New permanent showroom shines at market

Another High Point fall furniture market concluded this week and by all accounts it was another well-received and well-attended show.

Though not unbiased, the High Point Market Authority, producers of the event, described the sprawling industry exhibition as “a smashing success” that offered “powerful design inspiration and thought-provoking insights.” What’s more, attendance among the top 300 retail accounts was up 5% over last April’s spring market, reports Home News Now, and the number of overall exhibitors exceeded that show by 8%.

Among the latter was FTS (Furniture Technology Source), the furniture wing of AVB BrandSource. Led by Home Furnishings General Manager Michael Posa along with Luke Larsen, lead vendor relations manager for furniture, FTS held court in its new permanent showroom on the 10th floor of the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) building, just above Ashley.

For those who couldn’t attend, here are some views of the FTS space. You’ll get another chance to visit during the Spring Market, slated for April 13-17, 2024.

YSN publisher AVB BrandSource is the nation’s largest merchandising and marketing co-op for independent appliance, mattress, furniture and CE dealers.
