Netherlands-based Tulip Cooking is bringing its contemporary line of gas and induction cooktops to BrandSource.
The customizable collection includes 20 different gas configurations featuring one to six burners, black, red or stainless steel knobs and brass or black burner trim, while the induction models are offered in three configurations with two to five burners. Every unit is hand-assembled in the Netherlands, reflecting the brand’s commitment to “Old World craft and New World efficiency,” the manufacturer said.
“By combining function, flexibility and exceptional design, [we] elevate the cooktop from a mundane appliance to a focal point of the modern kitchen,” the company noted.
The addition of Tulip Cooking to the AVB brand portfolio furthers the group’s expansion into the luxury appliance category. “We are excited to have Tulip Cooking join the BrandSource family,” said Chad Evans, VP of merchandising. “They offer a unique cooking solution that caters to the high-end luxury customer and fits in nicely with our LUXE focus.”
Leading the charge is Amir Girgis, Tulip’s newly appointed executive vice president of sales & marketing. The former president and owner of Canadian distributor Better Distribution, he brings a deep understanding of sales network development, brand management and strategic marketing campaigns and reports to CEO Louis Van Leeuwen.
Also joining Tulip’s executive team is Regional Sales Director Elizabeth Nussbaum, an architecture and design industry veteran with expertise in sales and business development.
“We are excited to welcome Elizabeth and Amir to our executive team,” said Van Leeuwen. “Their extensive industry knowledge and proven leadership skills will undoubtedly drive Tulip Cooking’s growth and innovation as we continue to transform the culinary experience.”
Also driving the manufacturer’s growth is the opening of a new, state-of-the-art production facility in Gaanderen, the Netherlands, and the completion of distribution agreements in Germany, France, Israel, Ukraine, Jordan, Australia, Oman, Brazil and Canada, marking a significant step in expanding Tulip’s global presence.
“The opening of our new production facility and the establishment of distribution agreements in key international markets are pivotal achievements for Tulip Cooking,” Van Leeuwen added. “These steps reflect our dedication to providing cutting-edge cooktop solutions.”
