Premium appliance maker and BrandSource LUXE partner Miele USA has named industry veteran Ken Tangredi as vice president of sales.
In his new role, the former Fisher & Paykel sales VP is responsible for guiding, managing and driving the sales efforts of all domestic sales divisions at Miele USA, including major cooking and cleaning appliances and floor care, while collaborating with all company departments.
Tangredi reports directly to the Jan Heck, president and CEO, and has joined the company’s executive leadership team.
“We are excited to bring such a seasoned member of the appliance industry into the Miele family,” said Heck. “With more than 20 years of experience in home appliance sales, Ken will be instrumental in elevating the brand’s position in the market. We look forward to seeing his leadership continue to foster relationships with our appliance dealers and partners within the building groups and residential development companies.”
Tangredi logged nearly five years with Fisher & Paykel prior to joining Miele, and before that served as sales director at Samsung Electronics America and a district manager at Dacor. “In my previous roles, I saw firsthand the impact Miele has made on the U.S. appliance industry, and it’s a great honor to join the team and further its growth,” he said.
Founded in Germany in 1899 with the promise of “Immer Besser” (“Forever Better”), family-owned Miele has more than 20,000 employees and 12 manufacturing facilities around the world, where it produces laundry pairs, dishwashers, refrigerators, wine coolers, floor care products, ranges, cooktops, ventilation hoods and built-in convection, speed, steam and combi-steam ovens for sale in nearly 100 countries and regions.
In the U.S., Princeton, N.J.-based Miele USA bolsters the brand with 10 company-owned “Experience Centers” across the country and supports independent dealers with in-store “Innovation Centers.”
As he takes the sales reins, Tangredi said he plans to streamline internal processes, build new relationships and align the Miele sales team behind the brand’s principle of “Immer Besser.”
