Joins magazine’s ‘40 Under 40’ list of rising stars

Yet another AVB staffer has been lauded by the industry.
Michael Posa, the group’s general manager of home furnishings and senior lead for Furniture Technology Source (FTS), has joined the ranks of FurnitureToday magazine’s vaunted “40 Under 40” list of industry up-and-comers.
The annual honor roll celebrates 40 “rising stars” within the home furnishings business, all under the age of 40, who represent the next generation of furniture industry leadership.
Posa, 38, joined AVB in 2017 and, as FurnitureToday noted, has gone on to become “one of the most influential voices in the furniture industry.” Indeed, since spearheading FTS, which leverage’s AVB’s vast marketing technology might, participants have enjoyed 30% more site traffic and 30% more rebate programs than their competitors while their best-in-class digital catalog has grown tenfold over the last two-and-a-half years.
Most recently, Posa and his lieutenant Luke Larson debuted FTS Direct, a direct-sourcing program that will select, curate, import and ship split container loads of factory-direct products exclusively for BrandSource members. The first fruits of their efforts, a leather sectional from the debut FTS Direct collection, was on display at last month’s BrandSource Convention in Nashville.
The accolade isn’t the first for Posa, who was previously recognized by Dealerscope magazine in its own “40 Under 40” ranking of “the hardest-working people in the manufacturing, retailing and organizational strata of our industry.”
So congratulations Michael, keep on making us proud.
