Reserve a place for ServiceSource’s vendor tech sessions

Registration has gone live for a new opportunity from ServiceSource.
The exclusive AVB initiative for self-servicing members is now taking a limited number of reservations for its inaugural ServiceSource Factory Technical Training Camp.
Scheduled for Sept. 19-22 at the home base of AVB affiliate New England Appliance Group (NEAG) in Franklin, Mass., the tech camp will feature factory trainers from GE, Electrolux, LG, Samsung and Whirlpool who will conduct a three-day series of tear-down sessions.
According to ServiceSource Senior Lead Paul MacDonald, the hands-on, four-hour trainings are designed to “train-the-trainer,” so that attending senior techs can impart the skills and instruction they gleaned at camp to their own teams back home.
The member package for Factory Technical Training Camp costs $999 and includes:
- 1 badge
- 1 hotel Room for 3 nights
- 3 days of training at the NEAG facility
- 8 meals throughout the training camp
- A rideshare code for transportation to and from the hotel to the NEAG facility
The event is expected to sell out quickly, MacDonald said, as space will be limited to the first 50 technicians to sign up. (Cancellations made before Aug. 31 will be fully refunded.)
