New comprehensive workshop offers enhanced project management skills

ProSource, AVB BrandSource’s tech affiliate, announced last week a brand-new skills initiative, the ProSource Project Management Bootcamp. The program is an immersive three-day in-person experience designed to equip professionals with the essential project management and leadership skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape.
A press release from ProSource provided some details about the program:
“The Project Management Bootcamp will provide a focused learning environment where participants will delve into project management’s core principles and practices. It is geared towards individuals with Continuous Improvement (CI) experience seeking a deeper understanding of the project management role.
The program will engage participants in hands-on activities and collaborative exercises using real-world project scenarios. Attendees will work hands on through each phase of the project management lifecycle and gain valuable insights into the processes, methodologies, and best practices necessary to conduct project management. Every aspect of the project management discipline will be explored while tracking a project from initiation to closure.”
In addition to the project management curriculum, the boot camp will emphasize leadership competencies and best practices for leading and managing teams.

Upcoming sessions for the ProSource Project Management Bootcamp are scheduled as follows:
- Aug. 8-10, 2023
- Oct. 17-19, 2023
- Feb. 6-8, 2024
The sessions will be conducted at ProSource Academy in Richmond, VA, and will be led by industry experts with extensive experience in project management and leadership development.
