Five BrandSource vendor partners took home top kitchen honors last week in Interiors + Design Magazine’s coveted 2023 Residential Excellence in Design Awards program (Luxe RED).
The annual competition recognizes and honors excellence and innovation for the best-designed new product introductions and best residential architecture, interior design, built environment and landscape architecture projects across the country.
This year’s winners included five premium appliance makers — Beko, Dacor, Fisher & Paykel, Gaggenau and Hestan — that have each played a part in BrandSource’s luxury appliance initiatives.
Beko took the refrigeration innovation category for its bottom mount refrigerators with HarvestFresh, a tri-color light technology that mimics the sun to prolong the life of produce.
Dacor won the wine dispenser category for it 24-inch built-in model, which features customizable precision pours and cutting-edge technology that preserves opened bottles for up to two months.
Fisher & Paykel copped induction cooktop honors for its 36-inch model that offers precision performance, user-friendly controls and an integrated ventilation system that eliminates the need for bulky overhead range hoods.
Speaking of ventilation, Gaggenau’s Vario 400 downdraft series won the ventilation system nod for its modulated design, optimized air flow and quiet performance.
And Hestan, the California company known for its commercial, residential and outdoor cooking appliances, won the range category for its 36-inch smart gas dual fuel model, which is available in 12 colors and features an AccuKnob system that controls temperatures from 100 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit in 25-degree increments through an industry-first touch screen display.
