High Five Award winner Brandi Robinson received high praise from her Tempur Sealy managers and AVB clients alike.
AVB, YSN bestow the annual employee excellence award

Brandi Robinson of Tempur Sealy International (TSI) was named a 2023 High Five Award winner by AVB BrandSource and YSN.
Robinson, who serves as customer marketing manager (CMM) for TSI’s Buy Group Division, was one of only five individuals from across the U.S. to receive the annual accolade. Now in its second year, the awards program honors employees throughout the home-goods industry who’ve gone above and beyond the call of duty and do the heavy behind-the-scenes lifting with little or no fanfare.

Nominations were collected from retailers, manufacturers and suppliers for team members deserving of a collective “high five” from their peers, and the awards were bestowed at AVB’s annual Summit, held in Las Vegas in March.

Robinson, who assumed her role as liaison between TSI and AVB’s marketing team little more than a year ago, earned her High Five for the speed with which she’s mastered her job and the diligence and professionalism she brings to it.
“Brandi’s ability to navigate the buying group channel so quickly was impressive,” said Joshua Sowards, senior manager, customer marketing at TSI. “She is always finding ways to bring value to the group members while driving more awareness and engagement in our brands.”
TSI Account Manager Paula Higginbotham is equally impressed. “Brandi is second to none when it comes to follow up,” she said. “It doesn’t matter what day of the week or time of day; if something needs to be handled, she’s there and ready to assist.”
That’s something that AVB Vendor Relations Manager Dave Schwartz, who works with Robinson on a regular basis, can personally attest to. “Brandi responds quickly to any question — usually the same day and often within the hour — even if it requires going through multiple channels to get the answer,” he said. “She even got back to me during her Christmas vacation. Now that’s a holiday gift I wouldn’t expect from anyone! She certainly deserves a High Five.”
