ProSource Names Jim Crowley North Central District Manager

Polk Audio veteran joins affiliate’s field management team

ProSource,  AVB’s custom integration affiliate and the country’s largest specialty audio/video merchandising group, has appointed Jim Crowley North Central district manager.

Crowley has a long history in the consumer technology industry, having spent more than 25 years at Sound United (now Masimo Consumer) in addition to multiple roles at Polk Audio.

“We are very excited and happy to have Jim Crowley on the team,” said Frank Marengo, ProSource’s director of custom integration-level members. “His experience and passion for the solutions that we provide to our members is infectious. Since he joined the team, we have gotten positive feedback from both members and vendors. They really appreciate his energy.”

Crowley adds his name to a growing list of new hires and promotions at ProSource.

Crowley’s success in the consumer technology industry has been built upon building long-term business relationships, along with being both a passionate communicator and a polished product demonstrator, the specialty group said.

Crowley will be based in Minnesota and will serve ProSource members in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

For his part, Crowley was anxious to hit the ground running. “I am extremely honored to be part of this inspiring team of amazing people at ProSource,” he said. “I am excited to be able to leverage my skills and experience in service of our team, our members and vendor partners in a collective effort to improve customer experiences and satisfaction.”

When not helping ProSource members grow their businesses, Crowley enjoys taking in live music whenever he can. He is also a passionate fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Wild teams.

ProSource is a member-governed, not-for-profit cooperative representing more than 600 custom integrators and specialty CE retailers. The group’s $6 billion in annual sales helps it negotiate stronger programs with manufacturers, make independent dealers relevant to consumers, and keep the specialty A/V channel competitive.
