Adds a side-by-side fridge to it custom-finish collection

Samsung is raising the bar on refrigerator design with the addition of its first side-by-side model to its Bespoke collection of special-finish products.
Like is fellow Bespoke line mates, the new side-by-side offers modern design and convenient connectivity to suit a younger customer base. The new fridge is the latest addition to Samsung’s ever-expanding line of customizable Bespoke home products, which spans the kitchen, laundry and floor care categories.

On the design front, the product features modern, flat-front doors with recessed handles, offering a stylish new choice within a side-by-side configuration. Customers can also choose between two popular Bespoke finishes for the doors: white glass or a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel.
Inside, the refrigerator brings new, intuitive food storage features to the side-by-side category, including auto-open door sensors that assist with opening the model’s oversized doors. Just a light touch of the door handles will pop open the fridge, making it easier to load groceries or remove items with full hands, the manufacturer said.
There’s also plenty of room for those groceries, given the freestanding model’s 28 cubic feet of storage space (vs. 23 cubic feet for the counter-depth model), plus adjustable shelves that can accommodate tall or bulky items.
Also inside is Samsung’s trademark Beverage Center, which includes a water dispenser and auto-fill water pitcher with built-in infuser for brewing iced tea, and can accommodate fruit infusions for flavored water. The Beverage Center also features a dual auto ice maker, which can provide cubed ice or smaller-size “ice bites” that chill drinks faster.
Tech-wise, the new fridge offers seamless connectivity that makes it simple to track, manage and optimize its daily power consumption using Samsung’s SmartThings app. Specifically, the updated app now features an AI Energy mode that automatically optimizes the product’s compressor speed and the frequency of the defrost cycle based on the owner’s personal usage patterns and environment.
Samsung has begun shipping the Bespoke side-by-side at a suggested limited-time introductory price of $1,699, a 26% savings off its regular $2,299 MSRP.
