SYNC POS system can submit members’ claims automatically

Every BrandSource member knows that submitting sell-through claims — that is, requests for vendor reimbursement for merchandise that was re-priced lower after purchase — can not only be time consuming to submit but also a bit of a pain point for dealers.

Well, good news from AVB Marketing (AVBM): Those days are over for subscribers to the group’s proprietary SYNC point-of-sale (POS) system.  

Just announced at Summit 2023 in Las Vegas and starting in April, AVBM can automatically submit sell-through claims to Electrolux via SYNC on behalf of the manufacturer’s authorized BrandSource dealers.

Additional participating manufacturers are expected to be announced in the coming months.

This no-cost service could add 2% to 3% of additional profit to the bottom line for the 70% of BrandSource dealers who aren’t currently claiming sell-throughs. And for those members who are submitting their claims, it’s one more chore that AVBM can take off of your plate each month.

It’s worth noting that SYNC is the only point-of-sale platform in the industry that is able to offer this time-saving and margin-boosting benefit to its users today, and it’s worth repeating that there is no cost to SYNC users for this value-added service.
