Alabama BrandSource member stacks up multiple awards

Benson’s Appliance Center has been ably serving the residents of Baldwin County in Southern Alabama for 50 years, and its dedication has not gone unnoticed.
The family-owned BrandSource member was recently awarded not one but three separate laurels for its its track record of sales and service in the Gulf Coast communities of Foley, Robertsdale and Bay Minnette.
In quick succession, Benson’s earned “Best of Baldwin” accolades in two separate categories in a countywide poll, and was named the “Baldwin County Business of the Month” for February by the local Chamber of Commerce.
The “Best of Baldwin” competition is sponsored by local publisher Gulf Coast Media, which conducts an annual reader poll to determine “the best of the best” local businesses. This year over 400,000 votes were cast, setting a record for participation and awarding Benson’s Best Appliance Store and Best Appliance Service honors.
“We are thrilled to be voted by the people in this area as the best appliance store as well as the best appliance service provider in the area,” said Abby Frazier, Benson’s lead sales associate, speaking on behalf of the company. “We take pride in what we do and the people in the community recognize that. This is a wonderful place to live.”
Benson’s joined BrandSource in 2020 and is a member of the Southeast Region. Established in 1973, it is no newcomer to the countywide award, having won the peoples’ vote in past years as well. As it says in its pledge: “Whether you want to stop by to learn more — or plan to purchase a major appliance or mattress — we’ll treat you like family and assist you every step of the way.
