Automated bundles make digital advertising easy
By Alan Wolf, YSN
In today’s retail world, digital marketing is indispensable for engaging current customers and capturing new ones — and not just during the big holiday selling season.
If anything, stoking the post-holiday fires may be even more important to keep your business top-of-mind with shoppers. To that end, AVB Marketing (AVBM) has developed a comprehensive ad campaign for the first quarter of 2023 (Jan. 6 – March 27) that encompasses the New Year’s period, Presidents’ Day and the bridge promotion known as Spring Black Friday.
The good news for BrandSource members — aside from the added business the digital marketing will generate — is that the vendor-supported program will likely come at no cost following co-op reimbursements from GE, LG, Serta and Whirlpool. Plus, participating dealers will receive matching funds from AVB.
What’s more, AVBM has simplified the process by creating automated marketing bundles to engage consumers at every stage of their shopping journey via Google, Facebook, Instagram and, for the first time, email (free for the first month). Branded appliance advertising is available for LG, Beko, GE Appliances (plus first-timers Café and Profile) and KitchenAid, Maytag and Whirlpool, while touted mattress brands include Beautyrest, Sealy, Serta and Tempur-Pedic.
Non-branded promotional themes are also available for appliances, furniture and mattresses.
All that is required is a one-click sign-up before Dec. 23 to join the more than 200 BrandSource members who have plugged in with customers and boosted their sales. As AVBM’s digital strategy director Chris Swift said, “The strategy is set, the creative is done; a member needs only to ‘Plugin and Win!’”
