President/CEO of Klaussner Home Furnishings

Cybulski has served as CFO of the Asheboro, N.C.-based business since 2019 and has acted as interim CEO since the retirement of his predecessor, Terry McNew, in early July.

The new chief executive is credited with strengthening Klaussner’s financial performance, increasing throughput and improving quality, and helping the company navigate through the pandemic and its related supply chain challenges, Home News Now said.

In his new role, Cybulski said he will work with Klaussner’s leadership team, dealers and suppliers to build on the company’s “legacy of innovation and customer service,” and leverage its strengths in custom upholstery and U.S.-based vertical manufacturing.

Thanks to strategic acquisitions, domestic partnerships, state-of-the-art inventory control and local foam-producing subsidiary Prestige Fabricators, the 61-year-old Klaussner is able to manufacture over 70 percent of its products at five manufacturing sites in North Carolina. It’s multiple product lines include upholstery (fabric and leather), recliners, bedroom and dining room furniture, occasional tables and specialty bedding. Its brand roster includes such badges as Carolina Preserves, Comfort Design, Enso Sleep Systems and Klaussner, as well as licensed lifestyle collections by Trisha Yearwood and Stacy Garcia.
