Popular Texas band Big City Outlaws will kick off this month’s 2022 BrandSource Convention with a hard-rocking country hoedown.
Making a Texas-sized impact by ‘owning it’

AVB BrandSource is three weeks away from its return to Dallas, when the group’s annual Convention will reconvene at The Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center for an Aug. 28-31 run.
There, attendees can expect four power-packed days filled with main-stage presentations, seminars, regional meetings, leadership meet-and-greets, vendor opportunities, special ServiceSource and Furniture Technology Source tracks, and an expanded Expo floor.

The fun begins with a “Check-In Challenge,” in which members can scan their badges at the Event Check-In kiosks to enter a Summit 2023 sweepstakes. The grand prize: a free three-night stay at Harrah’s Las Vegas and two complimentary Summit registrations.
Dealers will also want to catch guest speakers Matt Havens, who will present a humorous and informative keynote address on generational selling, and author/podcaster Vicki Hitzges, who will offer expert advice on “obliterating stress” during the group’s annual Women in Business Breakfast.
Members can also de-stress at the show’s Sunday night Welcome Reception featuring hard-hitting country rock band Big City Outlaws. But it’s back to business on Monday, when the afternoon General Session leads into the traditional and aptly named Stampede, offering exclusively priced show specials across multiple product categories.
Like the Summit before it, this year’s Convention will carry the theme “Own It.” As AVB CEO Jim Ristow explains, Own It speaks to empowering members to press ahead and raise the bar even higher for their business, leveraging all the digital tools, merchandising programs and peer-to-peer best practices that the show has to offer.
