Samsung plans to introduce a new level of customization in home appliances later this year by allowing consumers to imprint personal photos or original artwork on their refrigerator’s doors.
The vendor’s forthcoming MyBespoke custom design panels are an extension of its Bespoke collection of French door fridges featuring colorful and interchangeable finishes in glass and steel. Under the plan, consumers will be able to retrofit their current Bespoke models with custom panels ordered through Samsung at $250 per section, home delivered in about two months. Conversely, new customers can submit their personalized designs when purchasing select Bespoke refrigerators direct from Samsung.com.
“MyBespoke brings a new level of customization to our Bespoke appliance line, inspiring a completely new way to express your creativity,” said Shane Higby, Head of Home Appliance Business, Samsung Electronics America. “Whether it’s a favorite personal photo or a bold print you designed, the possibilities are endless because it’s your one-of-a-kind Bespoke fridge.”
Owners can also compliment their custom-printed panels with a wide selection of colors for the lower doors or drawers, the company said, which range from morning blue and sunrise yellow to pink, clementine and emerald.
