Beko Home Appliances, the U.S. subsidiary of Arçelik, one of the world’s largest home appliance manufacturers, has launched a new line of dishwashers designed to clean the entire washtub using less water and energy.

The cornerstone of the new eight-model line is a proprietary CornerIntense spray arm. The arm’s rectangular vs. traditional circular motion disperses water and detergent to every space within the washtub including hard-to-reach corners, while using 50 percent less water and 25 percent less electricity.

“We’re thrilled to give Americans a new, more effective, and far more sustainable way to wash their dishes,” said Salih “Sazi” Bugay, Beko’s product management VP.

The innovation represents the industry’s first major spray arm redesign since Samsung introduced its linear-path WaterWall feature in 2015.

Beko’s latest dishwasher line also features DeepWash technology, which employs three water-adjustable jets to deliver increased water pressure to a dedicated wash zone, using grippers to hold items securely. It easily handles several tall bottles or jars with narrow openings or extra-tough pans up to 12 inches deep.

First showcased at January’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the line also offers Beko’s EverClean Filter system, which automatically rinses the filter with pressurized water to remove food residue and debris, keeping the filter clean up to four times longer, plus a SelfDry, automatic door-opening system that unseals and opens the dishwasher door after the cycle has finished, letting ambient air in and drying dishes naturally, without the use of additional energy.

The new Series 36, Series 38 and Series 39 models carry a 2-year OEM warranty and consumer rebates of $50 and $100 on select models now through Sept. 5.

Launched in Turkey in 1955, Beko is now marketed in more than 140 countries and is the leading home appliance brand in Europe. Known for its products’ eco-friendly functionality, Beko has received the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) highest honor for energy efficiency each of the past six years, including four consecutive Energy Star Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Awards, and a Good Housekeeping 2021 Sustainable Innovation Award in the Smart Sustainable Home Appliance category.
