Furniture Technology Source (FTS) is celebrating a desert bloom — that is, its new partnership with home furnishings resource Malouf Home, which made its BrandSource debut at last month’s Summit in Las Vegas.

The Utah-based company was founded 18 years ago by Sam and Kacie Malouf, who have since built their two-person operation into a home furnishings force with over 11,000 product choices carried by some 16,000 U.S. retailers. The couple, and their company, are renown for melding time-tested materials with the freshness of cutting-edge technologies.

“We’ve explored the globe, hunting for artisanal bedding honed through generations of practice in Italy, France, and Egypt,” the Maloufs explain on their website. “We’ve refined modern products, infusing unique foams with natural materials and improving the features and usability of adjustable bed bases. And, we’ve innovated — creating patents, researching new products, and building a vertically integrated company.”

At Summit, the vendor displayed some of its wide-ranging wares, which include furniture, mattresses, adjustable bed bases, pillows, sheets, mattress protectors, bed frames and mattress toppers. Malouf also participated FTS’s Mattress Executive Panel discussion, joining senior-level representatives from Serta and Tempur.

“We would like to thank Malouf for making the trip to Las Vegas to formally launch our exciting new BrandSource partnership,” said Michael Posa, AVB’s Home Furnishings GM and FTS point man. “Through the Furniture Technology Source channel, Malouf customers now have access to BrandSource’s preferred marketing and rebate programs.”

But beyond quality, pricing and service, Malouf is also committed to making the world a better place for all. Indeed, as a Certified B Corporation, it is not only concerned with revenue, but with its corporate social responsibility for society, workers, the community, and the environment.

Underscoring the point, founders Sam and Kacie also established the Malouf Foundation which, in addition to donating sleep products to multiple organizations, fights child sex trafficking and exploitation. Its second annual education summit, held last week in Salt Lake City, was an invite-only event designed to inform individuals passionate about and willing to get involved in the fight against the sexual exploitation of children.
