Today, on Jan. 17, 2022, we celebrate the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a man who is universally recognized as one of the most influential people of the 20th century, not just in America, but around the world.
Dr. King was a man of great wisdom, vision and perseverance. His was a voice of peace and reason in a sea of discrimination and inequality. He was a truly gifted speaker and on Aug. 28, 1963, gave one of the most powerful and inspirational speeches in American history. Please take seven minutes out of your day to watch it.
