GE’s luxury Monogram badge has a new advocate in its corner — actress and lifestyle doyenne Gwyneth Paltrow, who has signed on as a spokesperson and brand ambassador for the super-premium kitchen line.
As part of a multi-year partnership, the Academy Award-winning actress and founder of the Goop wellness enterprise has outfitted her homes with Monogram product. The appliances will figure into a new cooking content series that reflects Paltrow’s penchant for simple recipes and mindfully sourced, quality ingredients, GE said.
The 50-year-old celebrity will also make public appearances and share social media content in support of the brand.
“The focal point of our household is always the kitchen,” Paltrow said in a statement. “With Monogram, we found a kitchen that’s both a workhorse and beautiful. It fits seamlessly into the aesthetic of our home.”
The Monogram appliances were integrated into kitchens in Paltrow’s Los Angeles and Santa Barbara homes in collaboration with her architect and designer, along with input from the brand’s own design experts. GE said the remodeling projects will be revealed later this year.
“Gwyneth personifies the Monogram brand with her sophisticated taste in design that’s paired with a practical perspective of luxury integrated into everyday life,” said Monogram executive director Julie Burns. “Wellness isn’t just a staple in the food we create and eat in our kitchens; it’s become a central theme in design as we spend more time at home. Monogram is excited to have Gwyneth’s inspiration and collaboration as we embark on a wellness journey for our consumers.”
Paltrow’s first appearance on behalf of the brand will be at next week’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Orlando, where she will share a main stage with Monogram’s creative director, Richard Anuszkiewicz, and renown interior designer Brigette Romanek. The trio will discuss the appliance line’s role in her lifestyle and wellness approach.
Paltrow, who also earned Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild awards and was nominated for a spoken-word Grammy, has previously represented Estee Lauder as the face of its Pleasures perfume and modeled on behalf of Coach.
Her high-profile partnership with GE follows last fall’s announced collaboration between singer-songwriter John Legend and LG’s luxury Signature line.
