Mark Reckling, CEO of BrandSource member Grand Appliance and TV, recently announced several changes to the business’s senior leadership team.

Reckling shared the news with employees in a year-end letter citing a record year for the four-state chain and praising the entire staff for its perseverance. “I would like to personally thank all of you for making 2021 an historic year at Grand Appliance,” he wrote. “None of our success could have been possible without the efforts of each one of you. Throughout all of the challenges put before us, all of you were able to persevere and make Grand Appliance a better organization in every way, and I thank you for those efforts.”

He then went on to announce the changes in senior management. Under the new structure, Reckling himself will remain CEO but will not be as involved in day-to-day operations. Instead, those duties will now be more of a focus for the leadership team. Among the changes to that team:

Jeff Clemens has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing.  “Jeff has helped build a world-class website and built a fantastic team around him,” Reckling wrote. “We are happy to have Jeff leading us into the ever-changing and dynamic world of digital marketing and e-commerce.”

Jane Hood has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources. “Grand Appliance is built around our people,” Reckling said. “Jane cares deeply about our people and will ensure our core value of loyalty and fairness to our employees stands strong.”

Aaron Reckling has been promoted to Executive Vice President.  “Aaron will be working very closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure Grand is always moving in the right direction and our people are number one,” Reckling said.

Finally, COO Anish Gauri has been promoted to President.  “Anish has been a part of Grand Appliance and the Reckling family for 20 years now and understands what makes this company tick. He has a great team around him, and I know they will do great things for all of you and our company,” the CEO said.

Reckling concluded by saying, “Grand has gone through tremendous change in our 90-plus years of operation. We’ve gone from one small store in Waukegan, Ill., to 27 stores throughout the Midwest. This would not have been possible without the dedication from all of our loyal employees.”
