Kids aren’t the only ones going back to class this month.
At the upcoming 2021 BrandSource Convention opportunities for learning will abound, with subjects ranging from selling your business to conducting business in the “new normal.”
Among the latter, journalist and author Gene Marks, president/CEO of the Marks Group P.C., will help steer members along a profitable path amid the current cultural and economic climate.
Similarly, AVB chief marketing officer John White will provide a sneak peek of the latest AVB Marketing technology that taps into consumer demand for “omni-commerce” convenience in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tied into that is a separate presentation by Package.ai, which enhances the customer’s delivery experience with its autonomous communications software, leading to glowing reviews and upsell opportunities.
Also top of mind is the tight labor market, which hiring resource CareerPlug will help attendees crack with its session on proven recruitment strategies.
Taking a different tack, Dr. Kevin Elko, who holds a doctorate in biology education, will lead a session on shaping a winning work culture by developing your staff’s strengths and providing a company vision and personal connection.
And of course, the can’t-miss session of Convention will be hosted by YSN’s own Rich Lindblom, a past member and current columnist who will share the ups and downs of selling his appliance business.
