BrandSource Financial Adds Beko, Autco and XSENSOR

BrandSource Financial (BSF), the group’s member-owned finance company, has announced three new additions to its extensive list of approved suppliers.

Joining the BSF roster are Beko Appliances, a BrandSource vendor partner; appliance and CE distributor Autco Distributing; and XSENSOR, makers of a body pressure mapping system that helps mattress dealers demonstrate bedding.

According to Christine Moore, BSF’s Program Director and Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager, BrandSource members who currently utilize the financing program will now have the opportunity to add these sought-after new lines to their active BSF accounts. And those who aren’t already BSF customers might now consider applying for the in-house financing plan, she said.

The incentive is certainly there. Beko is an award-winning appliance brand renowned for its smart and sustainable products. A subsidiary of Turkey’s Arcelik and a sister brand of Blomberg, Beko is the leading freestanding home appliance badge in Europe and a winner of the EPA’s Energy Star Partner of the Year Award for the past four years, and the 2021 TWICE Picks Award for its 28-inch upright stainless steel freezer.

Autco, meanwhile, is a 51-year appliance and consumer tech distributor serving retailers in Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Kentucky and Southern Illinois. Headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., the company prides itself on its exceptional personal customer service and wide selection of brands, including the Crosley and Crosley Professional lines.

And thanks to XSENSOR’s AI-powered data analysis using body pressure, support and position data, bedding retailers can be assured of selling the right mattress to their customers by tailor fitting the product to the shopper’s individual support and comfort needs.

In related news, BSF is offering members an extra 30 days of free financing over the first 90-day period under a current promotion that runs through Aug. 24, the last day of Convention (certain restrictions apply).

BSF, like BrandSource itself, was created for the sole benefit of the members. That means that unlike other financing plans from vendors or third-party sources, members pay no interest charges, and any profits from the program go back to dealers.

This profit pass-along takes the form of Member Units, which provide dealers with a long-term nest egg and, more immediately, annual cash distributions (ACDs) based on each member’s annual BSF volume. All participants received 40 basis points ACD in 2020, and the same payout is forecast for 2021.

BrandSource, a unit of YSN publisher AVB Inc., is a nationwide buying group for independent appliance, furniture, mattress and CE dealers.
