Best Buy is muscling into America’s backyards.

Best Buy is tapping into the great outdoors.
Beginning this summer, the last remaining national CE chain is building out its backyard assortment with additional patio fare. The selection, which is limited to select stores and BestBuy.com, includes grills and outdoor ovens from such brands as Lynx, Traeger, Char-Broil, Weber and Ooni, plus an expanded lineup of fire pits, heaters, furniture and bistro lighting by Pure Garden, Flame Genie, Solo Stove, Walker Edison, Philips, Cree Lighting and more.

To kick off the category expansion, Best Buy is offering free delivery and on-site assembly of select Weber and Traeger grills when purchasing grilling accessories totaling $100 or more, and will haul away an old grill for an additional $30.
“During the pandemic, many of us turned our focus to our homes,” the retailer writes. “Whether that meant moving, renovating or simply redecorating … that trend isn’t slowing down.” And now that summer’s arrived, “It’s time to focus on our decks, patios and backyards,” the company advises.

Being a consumer tech store at its core, Best Buy is complimenting its Outdoor Living assortment with weather-resistant TVs by SunBrite, Samsung and Seura, and speakers by Sonance, Sonos, Klipsch and more.
