The Professional Service Association (PSA) will hold its 2021 convention this November in Las Vegas and is offering BrandSource members a reduced rate to attend.
PSA, a leading trade organization devoted to the appliance repair channel, partnered with BrandSource last June to bring a wide range of benefits to servicing members.
Those benefits include a special BrandSource member Convention rate of $475 vs. the regular rate of $549, along with a room rate of $69 a night. This year’s show — the 31st edition of the event — will be held Nov. 8-11 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
Held under the banner “Learn 2 Earn!”, the Convention promises four full days of “the best technical management and basic training” for techs, office personnel and apprentices, PSA said.
With its focus on appliance troubleshooting, electrical and schematic training, and basic and advanced refrigeration, among other topics, the show can also prepare dealers to become certified service centers. Specifically, on-site certification training and testing will be provided for:
- Certified Consumer Specialist (CCS)
- Certified Service Manager (CSM)
- Certified Master Technician (MCAP)
- Certified Technician (TCAP)
The convention, produced by PSA, is a popular forum for repair technicians, managers and store owners, who attend tech and management workshops, review exhibitors’ latest wares, and exchange best practices with industry peers. The show will be the first in two years, following the cancellation of the 2020 event due to the pandemic.
