The annual Picks Awards, hosted by industry journals TWICE, Residential Systems and TechRadar, honor “the best and most influential consumer technology” introduced each year at trade show, which is one of the world’s largest CE expos.
Beko’s standalone freezer was chosen in part for its cutting-edge technologies, which can help consumers adopt healthier, sustainable lifestyles. Specifically, the company’s Freeze Guard technology allows the units to operate in ambient temperatures between 5 degrees and 109 degrees Fahrenheit without any impact on performance, while its Quick Freeze feature locks in vitamins and nutrients by freezing food 10 percent faster than rival products.
Beko said its freezer line reflects the company’s tradition of creating technologies that make it easier to achieve a sense of wellbeing. “We’ve prioritized a commitment to new products and technologies that meet the needs of consumers and their goals to live healthfully,” said Beko U.S. president Zach Elkin. “We know they do not always find it easy, so we make every effort to do all we can to make the step to greater health and wellbeing easier.”

The Picks Award winners are selected for the impact the products are expected to have on the CE and retail industries, the publications said.
“We are delighted to win the TWICE Pick Award and be recognized for the positive impact we will have on the lives of consumers now and into the future,” added Salih Zeki Bugay, director of marketing & product management at Beko U.S. “We are committed to putting premium technology that is good for the planet and supports healthy lifestyles within the reach of more consumers.”
Beko, a subsidiary of Turkey’s Arcelik and a sister brand of Blomberg, is the leading freestanding home appliance badge in Europe and a winner of the EPA’s Energy Star Partner of the Year Award for the past four years. It also received Energy Star Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Awards in 2019 and 2020, and its freezers won EPA’s Emerging Tech and Most Efficient awards last year.
