CE and white-goods industry veteran John Iacoviello is retiring from BSH Home Appliances, and will be succeeded as Senior Vice President of Sales by Christopher Kaeser.

Iacoviello joined the maker of Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau premium appliances 11 years ago from Panasonic and was lauded by BSH for his “ability to build great relationships with customers and uphold BSH’s strategic vision.” He will remain on the company’s board through Oct. 30.

For Kaeser, the new post represents a promotion from his current role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for National Accounts. Besides sales, his new responsibilities include developing and implementing long-term strategic initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability through all sales channels, the vendor said. The appointment will be effective Sept. 1.

“Chris Kaeser’s expertise in strategy and business development will serve our company well,” said Christofer von Nagel, CEO, Region North America, BSH Home Appliances Corp. “Throughout his 19-year tenure with BSH, Chris has demonstrated all of the qualities BSH needs to successfully move forward as we enter this next phase of our business.”

Nagel also thanked Iacoviello for his 11 years of service, which he described as “instrumental in creating an outstanding sales team” and the foundation upon which Chris will continue to build.

The announcements follow the July 1 appointment of former Philips exec Dr. Carla Kriwet to CEO of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, BSH’s global appliance business and parent of BSH Home Appliances.
