ProSource, the largest audio, video and integration buying group in the U.S., just got larger.
The AVB affiliate added four new custom integrators (CI) to its membership ranks during the second quarter, helping to raise over $27.5 million in new revenue year-to-date and bringing the number of new members to eight in 2020.
The new CI-tier members include ENG AV of Birmingham, Ala.; Integrated Lifestyles in Dallas; Multimedia Innovations in Davie, Fla.; and Premier Media Technologies of Destin, Fla.
In addition, ProSource’s Board of Directors has elevated CI member Sound Effects of Mesa, Ariz., to the group’s “Power” membership level, which requires a minimum of $10 million in annual sales.
“ProSource continues to provide the opportunity for members to grow within the organization,” said Dave Workman, the group’s President and CEO. “And we welcome our new members with education, services and support for their businesses to continue to succeed.”
Added ProSource Director of Membership Sherry Dantonio, “Our goal is to provide every member with the tools to increase productivity and profitability.”

The latest additions to the group’s membership ranks join first-quarter newcomers AB Audio Video in Santa Monica, Calif.; Cinetec of Palos Park, Ill.; iWired in Scottsdale, Ariz.; and KC Tech Systems of Smithville, Mo.
ProSource is a cooperative, member-governed, not-for-profit buying group representing more than 550 specialty retailers and custom integrators. With annual sales of more than $5 billion, ProSource is the largest specialty and consumer electronics merchandising group in the country, which allows it to negotiate stronger programs with manufacturers, help independent dealers stay relevant to consumers and keep the specialty A/V channel competitive, the organization said.
