BrandSource’s servicing dealers have another reason to rejoice this week.
The pact, which becomes effective July 1, provides a trio of exclusive benefits to BrandSource members including favorable return windows, payment terms and freight charges, as well as a sign-up bonus and a monthly contest based on order increases.
According to Besor Fayas, Vice President of Sales at Dallas-based business, the new Reliable Advantage program provides BrandSource dealers with a free $100 parts voucher for creating a customer account. Once on board, members are privy to 60-day terms, vs. the more typical net 10 or net 30 terms, and have 120 days to return any order at no charge, compared to the company’s standard 30-day return policy.
In addition, Reliable offers members a $6.95 flat-rate shipping fee that covers all orders placed in one day for one location.
Reliable itself was founded in 1933 and five years ago merged with Appliance Parts Depot to became one of the largest distributors of appliance repair and installation parts on the continent, serving some 26,500 customers in the U.S. alone. The company houses a million OEM parts for nearly 200 vendors ranging from Whirlpool, GE Appliances, Electrolux/Frigidaire, Samsung and LG, to scores of secondary, tertiary, niche and luxury brands.
Orders received by 4:00 p.m. are shipped the same day from eight distribution centers ranging from 30,000 to 70,000 square feet, and Reliable also maintains 65 branch locations ranging from 4,000 to 7,000 square feet as well as eight call centers.
As an additional incentive, BrandSource members participating in the Reliable Advantage program have a chance to win a monthly prize based on their percentage increase in order size, with drawings held for new accounts. Prizes will include a GE Profile Opal Nugget ice maker (July); a Whirlpool-sponsored night vision binocular for current customers and an all-in-one fryer kit for new signees (August); an Electrolux-sponsored, retro-look dorm refrigerator for existing customers and a countertop soda maker for new customers (September); and a $500 credit for current accounts and $400 credit for new accounts sponsored by Whirlpool, GE Appliances and Frigidaire (October).
Reliable will also award an end-of-the-year grand prize of a canoe to the BrandSource dealer with the highest sales and greatest percentage increase in orders, Fayas said.
According to BrandSource General Manager Jarred Roy, the goal of the new partnership was simple: to combine ease of doing business with availability and reliability across all 50 states. “Reliable’s 87-year history ensures they are well equipped to meet our members’ needs for whatever situation,” he said. “This partnership provides a great solution that will benefit BrandSource members nationally while offering same-day shipping for speed of service.”
The launch of the new parts program follows this month’s pacts with the Professional Service Association (PSA) and online training academy Master Samurai Tech. “We’re excited to form this alliance, furthering BrandSource’s position as the industry’s group supporting independent servicing dealers for over 50 years,” Roy added.
