The AVB Events team took a short break from building out the industry’s first virtual buying group Convention to share a quick video message with the members.
The clip, which appears on social media and YSN, shows the team members tossing away their traditional show badges and lanyards in place of a laptop, to underscore the event’s transition from on-site to online.
The spot is the first in a planned series of AVB team videos heralding BrandSource’s 2020 Virtual Convention. The show, to be held Aug. 30-Sept. 1, will feature many of the same hallmarks of past confabs, including a kickoff presentation, exclusive Stampede deals, a virtual product expo, and one-on-one vendor meetings, plus plentiful buying opportunities at this critical time of the year.
