BrandSource offers its members many easy-to-execute solutions that are designed to help them be more competitive in a dynamic and ever-changing retail environment.
In an effort to illustrate to all members the value of the various exclusive tools available to them, BrandSource rolled out a simple “Checklist for Success” initiative at the Summit 2020 in Las Vegas this week.
The “Checklist for Success” allows BrandSource dealers to review a basic checklist of programs and services that are offered by the group, mark off those they are already taking advantage of and, more importantly, take notice of what they may be missing out on. As BrandSource GM Kevin Werner explained, “We also want to direct the members to where they can get more information about those services that they are missing out on that will have a direct impact on their bottom line.”
BrandSource encouraged all dealers to take a hard look at which of the areas on their checklist need attention and urged them to take action immediately. Items on the BrandSource checklist ranged from enhanced websites and merchandising programs to the importance of attending region meetings for training and networking. “We know these are tried and true solutions. If a member chips away at this list, we know they will run a better and more profitable business. It is as simple as that. We can clearly demonstrate how each of these items on the checklist impacts the bottom line of our dealers,” noted AVB’s CTO Dave Meekings.
The laminated checklists were distributed on site at the Summit’s region meetings. On the front is a list of the top “must do” business initiatives and services offered by BrandSource. Members were encouraged to go down the list and check off which programs they are currently engaging in, and to take a hard look at those they are missing out on. Also included is information on how to get more details about each and whom to contact about them while attending the show.
Equally important, the back of the checklist provides contact information for each member’s individual “Success Team ” — a squad of dedicated experts in the areas of merchandising, marketing, website operations, Expert Warehouse and member support — who are devoted to our dealers’ success and are on call every day of the week.
“We feel it is extremely important for all of our members to take advantage of all that this group has to offer,” added Meekings. “Simply put, those who are using all the tools in the AVB tool belt are outperforming the dealers that aren’t. We want all of our members to succeed and are giving them the resources to do so.”
To that end, all members were encouraged to take action while at the show. After all, as the Summit theme states, tomorrow starts today!
