Moran Refrigeration of St. Marys, Ohio, was named the 2019 BrandSource Dealer of the Year for the Mid-America Region on August 25 at the BrandSource National Convention & Expo at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas. Co-owners Doug and Pat Moran were honored at the buying group’s annual awards ceremony, which was held amid the hoopla of its four-day confab.
Moran Refrigeration has been serving the greater St. Marys community since Pat’s dad founded the business in 1947, and the company attributes its longevity to a friendly, committed staff, knowledgeable support, and outstanding, customer service, all while providing the best possible price.
In addition to a wide assortment of better home appliances, including such premium brands as Bosch, Broan, DCS, Danby, Electrolux and KitchenAid, the 72-year-old business also offers heat, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration solutions for commercial and industrial clients, featuring such suppliers as Carrier, Koolant Koolers and Zero Zone.
Beyond delivery and installation, Moran also services the appliances it sells, whether in or out of warranty, with a staff of specially trained service technicians, and operates a complete parts department with thousands of appliance parts in stock.
The BrandSource Dealer of the Year awards are presented annually to members who have shown continued support of BrandSource and its direct suppliers. A Dealer of the Year must support the group by attending regional meetings as well as national events such as the Convention and Summit.
This year’s 14 winners, which were selected by each region’s membership, demonstrated a continued commitment to excellence in the retail industry and to their fellow BrandSource dealers.
