If you’re reading these words, then chances are you’ve made your way to YourSourceNews.com, the just-launched news and information website for BrandSource members and the industries they participate in.
The brainchild of AVB CEO Jim Ristow, YourSourceNews (YSN) was created to bring the latest and most relevant news, business trends and marketplace developments to independent appliance, home furnishings and electronics dealers. Along with a weekly digital newsletter, the platform is designed to help members succeed in the marketplace by keeping them in the know and ahead of the curve in the ever-changing world of retail.
Main features of the site include a rotating “carousel” of highlighted stories; a running scroll of regularly updated “News Briefs”; easy access to the latest BrandSource videos and social media postings; and a vast library of BrandSource articles assembled under such categories as Industry, Members, Group, Education and Events. Posts include original reporting and articles from sister publication YourSource Magazine, plus curated stories culled from leading news and business information outlets.
But ultimately, YourSourceNews is all about you, the BrandSource members. As its slogan says, “Your business, your life, your news” – and to that end members (and vendor partners) are encouraged to share your opinions, company news and region developments with YSN.
